Veugen Integrated Technologies (VIT) press control packages are
custom designed to suit the specific requirements of each
machine. Packages often incorporate the Wintriss SmartPAC2 Press
Automation Control in combination with Omron’s safety network
controller or solutions from Phoenix Contact, Pilz and Allen
Bradley.
VIT has built a solid reputation by providing innovative
solutions to upgrade stamping press controls to conform to
current safety standards. Every stamping press installed in
Canada must now comply with the CSA Z142-02 safety code.
Generally, all new machines are compliant, but thousands of
older machines currently in operation do not meet the safety
code. At VIT, we upgrade these older machines to ensure they
meet the stringent requirements of a PSR (Pre-start Health and
Safety Review).VIT handles all aspects of the project, which may
involve light curtains, a complete new control package (we
provide several different brands), and mechanical guarding.
